Another spectacular Swingin’ for Theresa Golf Outing was held at North Hills Country Club on Thursday, June 25th. The 18th annual event welcomed 94 golfers and even more at the Gala Reception. The cloud cover and light breeze was a welcome plus for the golfers.
Once again the golf committee, with Ralph Caruso and Vincent J. Russo as co-chairs, did a great job and the day could not have been such a success without the help of our volunteers . Yankee, Mets and Jet tickets, golf clubs and bags, and restaurant gift certificates were some of the raffles prizes that were won. A week in Myrtle Beach, original Theresa Academy student artwork, and restaurant gift certificates were also auctioned off. The 50/50 raffle reached $1,700 and Mike Deo graciously donated his winnings to TAPA. The evening was graced by The Gotham City Cheerleaders who took photos, greeted guests and sold raffles.
A number of camp scholarships for The Theresa Academy of Performing Arts for children with special needs. www.tapany.com. were sponsored by the attendees.
