On Monday, October 19, 2015 members of our TAPA family, Edith Heinsohn, Linda Landon and Susan Russo were featured on the Telly Award winning show, Family Comes First™.
The show’s mission is to highlight challenges that families face in their daily lives and provide them, and you, with hope by suggesting resources to help get through these difficult obstacles.
During this episode, A Legacy of Inclusion, Edith shares her motivation to start a Girl Scout troop for girls like Linda. Using her Special Ed background, Edith helps troop members succeed by taking an activity and breaking it down so it’s easier for the young girls to achieve. Edith is a role model for parents everywhere.
Edith and Linda are joined in the studio by Susan Russo who shares how TAPA helps the members of the troop complete certain tasks in order to earn badges.
